History of ACSEL

1st International Symposium on Safety and Health Education in the University was held at Ehime University, Japan, in January 2013. We undersigned Ehime Declaration to the following;
1. We will continue to hold symposia on health and safety education in the university.
2. We will establish a network of health and safety education leaders for mutual exchange.
3. We will aim to achieve a world-class standard for health and safety education.

1st International Conference on Laboratory Safety in Science & Education, which corresponded to the 2nd International Symposium on Safety and Health Education in the University, was held at Incheon National University, Korea, in November 2013. We have been convinced that there are a lot of issues which should be solved in laboratory safety and we should share the useful information and good examples to improve the laboratory safety in each Asian county. Now, we are pleased to organize the conference as 1st Asian Conference on Safety and Education in Laboratory.
